Where We Work
The postwar streets. Most of our week is spent around the railway line, where the fibro and weatherboard houses have carried the same galvanised pipe runs since the fifties. A few pre-1947 survivors still stand near Innes Street, and their plumbing shows every one of those decades.
The creek side and beyond. Downfall Creek runs along the suburb's southern edge, and the yards on that side stay damp through the wet months.
